Was asked about the biggest fish that I know of that has been caught on the Rage Anaconda.

The one in the photo from a local paper was caught on a 10" prototype in June 07 at one of my favorite public lakes in Texas. Weighed 13.90 and she was suspended in a tree top in 25 to 30 ft water and spawned out.

As usual released immediately on site after photo. My nephew was happy to say the least and gave me high fives and a big hug.

Fishing is great for everyone and you can't say that about too many things.....

Hey Big O, since we are on the subject of Anacondas. Would Fall be a good time of year to fish the Anaconda? How would you fish this bait?

Hey Hawk, sorry for the late reply.

1) Tx rigged 1/4 oz max weight in 10 ft or less or casting in tree tops with light wind conditions.

2) Over grass in shallow water weightless 5/0 minimum Superline hook EWG or keelweighted 5/0 minimum EWG hook, light short lifts and slow fall (Hold on) This is a big slow finesse style that no fish can resist. I have caught as many XL fish with this presentation as any other on the ANNIE...She's irresistable.

3) Deep water Carolina rigged or 3/8 or larger Tx rigged weight.

4) This Bait also works extremely well as a light weight Carolina rig or rubber pegged upline light weight, 1/4 to 1/2 oz.
