ok guys went out for day two and got out for topwater well i had some awesome hits on the rage tail shad some big fish but i couldnt hook up and i felt them on the bait oh well theres tomorrow stilll. so we kept fishing and early in the morning we found that the fish are really shallow so we were both throwing * bush bugs i caught 2 on that and one on a spinnerbait and lost a few on the bush bugs. then my wife thought that she was snagged and it ended up being a fish the biggest of the day not huge but better than the 11inches we been catching...but i do have one question we went way back in this cove like a small lake and there were shad just busting like crazy in the whole cove but no matter what we threw we couldnt get bit and we could see the shad so i know thats what they were and they were about 3-4inches long. if you guys got any tips on what i should throw that would be great...usually i throw spinnerbaits when i see that but any help would be great...oh and also after the morning bite we cant find the fish the water is only 70 degrees and its the beginning of october do you think the fish still go deep during the day? thanks.
