Caught her on a nightfishin trip on a zoom 10.5 inch ole monster worm in black w/ blue fleck in about 12 feet of water on a submerged beaver dam.

I didnt have a scale...measured tho...she was 26 inches.......So what do yall think she weighs?

Don't know, but it looks like you need some fiber in your diet.

I'd say get a scale.  It is impossible to tell weight from a photo.

26 x 26 x 14 = 7.89 Pounds

        1200

Memorize this formula:

Length X Length X Girth = Pounds

             1200

I estimated the girth at 14 inches so redo your measurments from the photo and recalculate to see what weight you promulgate.

Nice lady!

You did good!  :)

Where did you catch her?

Why were you out night fishing when you needed to be home doing homework?  ;D   ;D   ;D

I think I know the lake you are speaking.

Never fished it for bass.

Do not live in the rich subdivision  ;D so I have no place to launch my boat.

Great catch.  I heard there were bass that size in the lake and now you have proved it.

You get an A+.

Do you attend Clover Hill High School?

I'd say just guessing 9.5 to 10 lbs....... 26 in. is huge!!!!!!!!!!! I finally realized you do need a scale!!!!!!!!!!  caught one yesterday I swore was 5.5 to 6- real fat and weighed in at a meager 3.5 lbs.... but having said all that has to be at least 9 lbs.........

It weighs "enough"

enough to know you done good

enough to want to know how much exactly

enough to teach you not to go w/o a working scale

NOT enough to counterbalance the tire "T to the I" has been growing around his mid section  :P, don't fret the haters, they're just jealous of us guys who were made for speed instead of comfort ;)

Very nice bass, great pic, too!

Weight?

Long, skinny and no belly.

Either side of 6 lbs.

You almost doubled the weight in your guess! :o You killed your own credibility and then said "has to be at least 9 lbs" - how? You swore the other was 5.5-6.

I'll give you 7-8 on the first fish, but you have to buy a new scale (and use it) before it goes 9-10. ;D

No matter the actual weight, you caught a GREAT fish.  Bring the scale always and catch another one like that...  we all want to know the real weight also!!   ;)

yeah I am from Texas and we all tend to exaggerate....... but I swear the bass I caught last week was at least 5.5, but he was only 3.5!!!!! so no I don't have any credibility guessing weights you are correct....

which goes to say get a scale or measure the length and the girth.... you have to have both to get the formula correct...... :)

I agree with road warrior that it is a tad skinny w/no belly. For comparison the bass in my avatar is 24.5" long and weighed a little over 8lbs on a spring scale (not the most accurate but close enough for government work). Based on that and the 26" it measured I'll guess about 6.5-7 lbs. If you hook that one in spring I'm guessing you'll come close to a double digit fish.

NICE FISH BUD!  8-)
