Have been catching them on various lures, but the one that really has been pounding them is a Zoom finesse worm on a dropshot rig.... Color-junebug/chart. tail Blue fleck powerworm- have been catching the larger fish on this lure texas rigged- w/ berkley gulp fish attractant Booyah chart./white spinnerbait Zoom fluke watermelon seed Quote
stump1001 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Thanks for the info. Is it a 1/4 ounce spinner and what type/color blades? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted September 10, 2008 Super User Posted September 10, 2008 About 90% of the bass I catch is with a wacky rigged finesse worm-color was unimportant. Summer has been better than it was in the Spring in the numbers and size caught. I caught 506 more bass from June 1 to Aug. 31 than I did from Mar. 1 to May 31. Quote
flippincrazy Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Summer can be tuff, but fall is quickly approaching, baitfish are starting move up here and the bass are following. Topwaters and flukes are providing for lots of intertaining strikes and hookups. Remember as fall aproaches FOLLOW the baitfish. Quote
BirdNestBen Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 I had a question about the Booyah spinnerbait... its a 3/8 oz. and has double willow leaf blades- gold and silver Quote
