I made it up to my parents cabin last week for a couple days and was fortunate enough to get on the lake. Over the course of 3 days me and my dad got on some really nice fish in the shade lines and under docks/pontoons.

Almost all of them were taken in less than 3 feet of water on 5" Yum Dingers

Here are a couple of the ones I managed to get pictures of:

We've had great weather up here the last few days. We slayed them on Saturday, another poster said that he and his family did very well, and now your post.  Early last week it looked like it was gonna be good for everyone up here.  Apparently it was.

Nice job!

It is my opinion and I have a few, that although your average fish may be a bit smaller compared to ours (Texas) your LMB and SMB are much more healthy looking and have colors that are almost never seen in our parts. Nice photos Josh

The weather was awesome last week the sun was out and the lake was nice and calm. This is a lake that gets little bass pressure so when its sunny you can set your watch to the slobs heading into the shade line and heading to the docks.

I'm glad some fellow Wisconsinites were able to take advantage pf the nice weather.

Big-O, I think generally the colors on the LMB up here may be better, but I would give my left twin to fight some of the fish I've seen on this forum! ;D

That's no lie Joshua.  Last week fishing the shallows, I came accross a few large mouth schooled up, and I swear they were grilling out and I think 2 of them were evan wearing cheesehead hats!  No kidding.

well over on the other side of WI there are huge smallys ... not to mention in the spring when they have the tourney on sturgen bay you better have a 5lb average just to cash a check .... the winners of that have big sacs .... then you have high falls flowage that had tons of huge smallys in the 5-6lb class ... we also have 3 rivers that have 5lb smallys .... and tons of small lakes up north are also chalked with bigguns .... they are there ...the winnebago system has bigguns .... infact most of WI has big smallys ...  ;)
