Well, I have had a pretty decent time fishing so far this summer. In the last month, i have caught bass that weigh 4lbs 11oz, 4lbs 9oz, 4lbs 3oz, and 4lbs 1oz, along with a slew of 3+lb fish. Im getting a couple of rolls of film developed with nothing but nice fish on them. Within a few days, Ill show you guys some of the bass I have been into in michigan so far this summer, including one outing where i managed a 17lb limit!

what lakes are you fishing? i used to live in gladwin county and we would smash the largies up there. we fished secord lake, wixom lake, smallwood lake those were the big fish producers 3-4lbers all day on docks either skipping senkos, black and blue jigs or sounds crazy but a frog we would skip under docks just pop it while its under there and they would blow up on it or under pontoons was awesome to. there was a couple other lakes but i dont want to name them becuase there only about 200 acres that we could catch 4lbers all day wouldnt want to let the secret out. i never seen anyone fishing for bass at these lakes hardly at all.

Sounds like you've been having a pretty good summer. I know I've seen the weights drop this year at the tournaments up there. We've only seen one bag over or even at 20lbs this summer and and generally it's been takign between 11-15lbs to win. Last year until around now we were seeing atleast one 17-23lbs bag a week.

I live in eau claire, which is in berrien county. Most of the fishing i do is on indian lake, pipestone lake, and a couple of times on magician or paw paw. But until recently i have been stuck in a 12' aluminum boat with nothing but a trolling motor. Now that i got a bass boat, i hope to be able to more effectivley fish the bigger lakes that i was too intimidated by before.
