here is the deal.  i fish on a golf course, but the only way i can is if my buddy is with me cuz he is the one with the membership.  believe me it totally sucks having to rely on someone to get on the water.  i dont blame him tho, he is young and fishing isnt high on his priority list, at least it isnt according to his girlfriend.  ;D

anyway i want to go fishing this weekend, i dont care where.  if anyone in the central texas (or close) area has a backseat open or a little extra room on the bank.  let me know.  i am more than happy to give up some fuel money or buy lunch or something.  just shoot me a PM and we will go from there.

ok now that that is out of the way.  what would you do if in my situation?  sure i can go to these two private tanks.  but they are VERY small and rarely produce much.  i could go and fish the shore of lake waco, which for me has never produced a keeper.  the golf course where i go is great, like ten different good sized tanks which all produce good fish, usually.  i have contacted the local club here but i need to have a partner, with a boat, and i have had no luck finding anyone.

sorry i am just a bit frustrated, my little rant is over.

sorry mods if this should have went somewhere else, feel free to move it.

I would move to an area close to public, large lakes.  Seriously dude.  I settle for less to live in an area close to lakes.
