Okay, There's been alot of good threads going on about how much fish weigh. I thought I would start a thread to see how good some of our members are at weight guestimation! I know down to the ounce how much each of these fish weighed. I believe you will see how deceiving a photo can be. So just for kicks! Take a shot at how much each of these fish weighed.

Sorry my photography skills aren't the best.

Nice looking fish but I'm not going out on that limb. It's not that I don't want to be wrong; I just don't want to come off the wrong way.

The guesses here on the forums are kind of odd and inconsistent.

Assuming the female holding #3 is not 6' tall, I'd guess #3 is the smallest of the bunch (weight and size wise) 20" or less & < 5 lbs. The rest are hard to venture a guess without knowing how big of a guy you are.

1 - 7.6 lbs.

2 - 8.1 lbs.

3 - 6.5 lbs.

4 - 9.3 lbs.

oh wait, i'm getting ahead of myself.  that's y'all's future fishin' trips. ;D

teria, i deduct 1 pound from your catch for not smiling.  could you please act a little more excited when you are holding a nice fish?  smile girl, that's a good 'un.   8-)

This is fun. No, I'm not guessing, except to say all fish are over 4lbs -I think.

Hawgcaller, do you have an inside line here??

Eddie, you can't offend me. Please give it a shot. It'll be fun.

Hawgcaller, your too kind! I told Teria the same thing. The problem that day was she left her shades at the house (rookie mistake), the sun was frying her eyes. We gave her a spare hat to help out.

Okay, I'll help ya'll out a little bit. I am 5' 11" and weigh 150lbs. soakin' wet.

Wasn't afraid of offending you; I'm with Paul Roberts in that I believe them to all be over 4lbs and most over 5lbs but then again, I believe mine to be as large as those you have pictured.  :P  That's what I meant by come off sounding the wrong way and that guessing seems to be inconsistent.  8-)

2.- 3.7 lbs.

4.- 4.1 lbs.

Not tonight. :)

I'm still waiting for someone to get close to atleast 3 of them. ::)

Heck, I guess I'm gonna have to give something to whoever can get the closest! How bout three brand new jigs or a brand new Rapala!
