Ambergris Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Hello everyone - I'm new here, but like everyone else fishing is a major part of my soul. I fish both salt and fresh water and try to capture the events as best as I can and make short movies for me to enjoy during the winter months. I recently made this one of (mostly) fly fishing for LMB with topwater flies and wanted to share with the community. I shot it alone with a headcam and rigged digital camera. It's set to music so let it preload and TURN IT UP!! I hope you like it and let me know what you think! Nicer Veoh Version Quote

Super User Paul Roberts Posted June 20, 2008 Super User Posted June 20, 2008 Nice work. Very beautiful. I liked the music -the mix. In general, 'm not big on heavy metal for fishing vids -maybe it's worn out on me. But you had a nice mix. Very creative. What equipment did you use -for the underwater shots? What's a head cam? Ambergris Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 Hi guys - Glad you liked it! A headcam is a video camera which is typically mounted to a helmet for "action" sports. I made an adapter so that I could put it on my headlight strap. It sucks on hot days, but the top water footage is worth it! This one was made by a company called vholdr. the digital camera is an olympus 720sw (shock proof and water proof to 10ft) and has taken a beating over the last year. I fixed it to the shovel handle using a gorilla pod made by a company called joby. Quote
