Hello everyone - I'm new here, but like everyone else fishing is a major part of my soul. I fish both salt and fresh water and try to capture the events as best as I can and make short movies for me to enjoy during the winter months.

I recently made this one of (mostly) fly fishing for LMB with topwater flies and wanted to share with the community. I shot it alone with a headcam and rigged digital camera.

It's set to music so let it preload and TURN IT UP!!

I hope you like it and let me know what you think!

Nice work. Very beautiful. I liked the music -the mix. In general, 'm not big on heavy metal for fishing vids -maybe it's worn out on me. But you had a nice mix. Very creative.

What equipment did you use -for the underwater shots? What's a head cam?

Hi guys - Glad you liked it!

A headcam is a video camera which is typically mounted to a helmet for "action" sports. I made an adapter so that I could put it on my headlight strap. It sucks on hot days, but the top water footage is worth it!  This one was made by a company called vholdr.

the digital camera is an olympus 720sw (shock proof and water proof to 10ft) and has taken a beating over the last year. I fixed it to the shovel handle using a gorilla pod made by a company called joby.
