And what a day it was.  

Got there a little late, was greeted to this site at the first pond.

It only got better from there. Had an epic day, 50+ fish, all of which came on the Horny Toad. They were just mashing that thing. This was the average size of the fish caught.

what is in the first picture?

is that a snapping turtle nest or a birds nest or something?

Big fish went 9.5 lbs. That's a swan's nest.

holy crap thats huge!

it didnt look taht big from the pic but that thing is a giant!

that must have been absolutley amazing catching that big ole hawg on a topwater!

Man, those fish don't count! Private ponds are off limits  :D

They don't count if you live in California is what I'm sure he meant! (what... that's where it happened? ya should count anyway!)LOL
