well today i took off work early bc hey, its work and who wants to be there anyways. on my way home i thought i might as well stop by my buds pond and fish and drink some cold busch light.  well the first cast in i caught a smaller LM bass on a pumpkin seed grub.  then i started to throw anything else i had, i ended up gettin 5 LM and one SM. my last cast while trying to answer my phone i had a 3 lber smoke my spinnerbait.  today was well worth it. sorry for no pics, just on my cell phone, oh we.. ill bring my digital next time. later.  oh yea, what do u catch common carp on? i saw about 8 in a school swimming all afternoon, they had no interest in a crank or a jig, just wonderin, thought it would be a hoot trying to bring one of those in. thanks.

sounds fun!

i caught a 38" carp on a chunk of bread balled up on the hook.

carp usually dont take artificials. actually, they like to eat a lot of people foods. try bread, dough, corn, lunch meats, and pretty much anything else.
