MskSlyr and I along with one of our co-workers took MskSlyr's boat out this morning for its maiden voyage. It was a great day to be out on the water! The flow was a little faster than we had anticipated but it didn't turn out to be too much of an issue.

While we were out for a mixed bag, we had figured out a decent smallie pattern. MskSlyr managed 4 or 5 smallies, our co-worker caught 5 smallies and I managed 6 smallies. All were caught on crankbaits and jerkbaits. My best was 18" 2 1/4lb smallie (which happened to be a PB for the year so far)!

Thanks again for the invite MskSkyr! It was a great morning out on the water with you guys! I'd say we did a decent job putting smallies in the boat for its maiden voyage!!!!

Congrats to you all, sounds like everyone had a great time.  Sounds to me basser like you are all set for a t-town to millerstown float now.  We should be able to put lots of fish in the boat this time.

Matt, you hadn't guessed from our last float on the stretch that I am NOT fond of that section! LOL!

Here's a pic that MskSlyr sent me of the biggest smallie I caught.

I know you are the lake fishermen Basser that is why you don't like that stretch. Basser and our co-worker put on quite a clinic on Sunday with a good crankbait bite. To bad one of them was my own crankbait used against me(LOL). We will get the monster walleye next time.
