619bassman Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 So this morning the last thing I wanted to do was get out of bed, but my buddy called at like 9:30 and was like lets go fishing for like 45 min. I grudgingly agreed after a minute or 2 of convincing. We went to a local pond about 5 min from our house and started to fish. We saw a couple of fish cruising that wouldnt hit anything. After a bout 20 min I moved to another side of the pond and saw what looked to be a nice fish cruising by. So I cast my T rigged grn pumpkin senko about 2 feet in front of her. On the fall she just stopped and didnt move further. I gave it a small twitch and she moved to about 1 foot away, one small twitch again and she nailed it. I set the hook nice and firmly and she took off like a shot started peeling drag. She put up a nice fight. I learned my lesson about sayionig no to fishing... dont ever do it Quote

FivePoundBluegill Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Nice.... I fished that exact same spot you are standing last night for catfish and ended up catching three of them. Biggest one was about 4 LBS. That spot is great for cats. Quote
