Super User fishfordollars Posted May 18, 2008 Super User Posted May 18, 2008 Depends: Has the lake changed? Water clarity, depth. How many saw you catching them and what flite and number did you draw. I would go if it was me Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted May 20, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted May 20, 2008 The other day the moon was full so an evening bite was expected. Where will the moon be next weekend and when will the bite be on? Can you afford the 3 hrs of run time vs fish time? I would still make the run if I did not have fish closer. Welcome to the forum Quote
peidy_p Posted May 20, 2008 Author Posted May 20, 2008 it leaves me with abou 4 1\2 hours to fish Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted May 20, 2008 Super User Posted May 20, 2008 Make the run...If you are this worried about the run you should have been prefishing a little closer to the launch site. JMO Quote
ventureboat Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I'm a firm believer in keeping the bait in the water as much as possible, but I would make the run. That is where your confidence is gonna be, and that's a big plus!! jmo Quote
jhoffman Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 an hour and a half? what are you running a 9.9? At launch time, run back, get the trailer, drive the boat on it. DRIVE to the place you need to be, re launch, fish, pack it back up and then launch again. Should save you some time. JK... I hope youre not running a 9.9 Quote
