Well, here's my take:

If someone posts a picture and says they weighed the fish, then that's the weight...

"Nice Fish!", or make no comment and move on to another thread.

Now, if someone posts a question, "How much do you think this weighed?", game on!

These are not "rules", just suggestions.

i agree 100% ... see those of us who bass fish know about what a bass weighs ... and even we are wrong when we call the weight of a bass at times ....

heres a funny story last season i was bassin at a local lake ... i was tossing that spro frog ... i hooked a 5lber it measured in at 20inces ... there was a guy there watching me catch the bass and he even went and took a peek at what frog i was useing ... long story short ,, i ran into the same guy this last sunday ... i said have you seen any big bass caught here before i remembered he was the guy watching me catch that hog last season ... he said ya i saw a guy catch a 25inch 8lber right over there ... then he said wasnt that you ... he said the guy was using a blue rod ,,, like the one you are using ... i thought about it and yea that was me ... but that bass wasnt no 8lbs nor was it 25 inches .... i just smiled and said yea that was me ...
