txguy87 Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 I went out to the lake today with a couple of buddies and we we waded out off of a point. I was burning a rat-l-trap and thought I got hung up, but I soon realized it was a huge fish. I brought her in and she measured 23 inches and a rough estimate about 7 lbs. I was sure glad I invested in a new setup after I sold my textbooks back. It more than made up for the sun burn I got today. Just thought I would share. Sorry for no pics but it is a little hard to keep a camera dry when you are out in the water. Quote

BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted May 10, 2008 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted May 10, 2008 Congrats and Welcome. Walmart has those disposable water proof cameras for under 20 dollars. You should get one so you can keep a record of those hawgs. Quote
txguy87 Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 That is a pretty good idea FD, I might just have to do that. I got skunked today but there is always tomorrow Quote
