Super User Bassn Blvd Posted May 9, 2008 Super User Posted May 9, 2008 Congrats on a good mess of fish. What's up with the long sleeves? I'm sweating just looking at you guys. Fricking 90 degrees here. Quote
Bass n Bows Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 I forgot to mention that we were sight fishing beds. It was a long, exact, and demanding way to fish, but man was it ever rewarding! I caught mine after fishing a half an hour for it. It wouldn't hit the bait naturally so I finally dropped it on his head and he hit it out of reaction or just being angry. Quote

It was in the low 60's here today, and we wear long sleeves because we fish around alot of poison ivy. :'( Quote

NJfishinGuy Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 take it easy on those fishes jaws when holding them. you really got that bigger fish cocked up and you could easily dislocate its jaw and not even know it. handle your fish with care. Quote

Yea the water is starting to go down. It is still pretty high, but it has been high for so long that the water has cleared up. We are just fishing in eddies where there are shallow flats. I caught mine on a crawfish imitation. My cousin's was caught on live bait. Quote
