VikingsFan Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Hello. I was looking online for smaller sized swimbaits that weight around 1/2oz. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so does anyone know of any? Any help would be appreciated. Quote
mattm Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 I don't know of any that small, but it doesn't meant there not out there. Sebile's Magic swimmer 5" is 3/4 oz. Fourbizz is going to had this but what about the hollow body tubes with a weighted keel hook. Quote
kayl. Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Spro's BBZ-1 4" Shad swimbait is 3/4 oz if you get the floater. http://www.***.com/descpage-SBZSFS.html Matt Lure's 2.5" Matt Shads are .3oz http://www.***.com/descpage-SBZSFS.html Matt Lure's 4.5" Matt Shads are 1.2oz (a little heavier) http://www.***.com/descpageSWMMATT-MLMS45.html River2Sea's 3" V-Joint Minnow weighs 3/8oz http://www.***.com/descpageSWIMRIVER-R2SVM.html It also comes in a waking version: http://www.***.com/descpageSWIMRIVER-R2SVMW.html River2Sea's Live Eye 3" & 4" Bottom Walkers weigh 3/8oz and 5/8oz respectively. http://www.***.com/descpageSWIMRIVER-R2SLBW.html Hopefully these will help! Super User roadwarrior Posted October 25, 2008 Super User Posted October 25, 2008 I have had good luck with the GYCB Swimming Senko and Mattlures Shad. 8-) Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted October 25, 2008 Super User Posted October 25, 2008 Probably all of the hollow body swimbaits with a weighted hook will be in that range. The Fathead, Money Minnow, Bass Magic, Basstrix, etc. Quote
BossierBassHunter Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 the swim senko has lots of tail action, I just find it super hard to rig straight Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted October 27, 2008 Super User Posted October 27, 2008 Matt's shads as mentioned above. Hudd shad will fit your needs too http://www.huddlestonstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=8 Quote
Super User CWB Posted October 28, 2008 Super User Posted October 28, 2008 Broke down and bought 2 bags of SwimSenkos. Not much action. Maybe I got duds. Megabait Charlie is right around 1/2 OZ. Like Wayne P. said, any of the plastic swimbaits, hollow or solid, can be rigged with weight of your choice. Storm makes a bunch of different styles but quality is hit or miss. Quote
