Yimm Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I fish in a lake that is very murky/dirty but has some HUGE bass. I have good luck using nightcrawlers but lures have been hit or miss. The problem is the nightcrawlers really attract bluegill which is a pain. Can anyone suggest the best bass lure AND color for murky water. As usual--Thanks!!! Quote
BassinWill301 Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Try a 3/8 chart/white spinnerbait with gold colorado blades. Quote
Bassboss Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Try a 3/8 chart/white spinnerbait with gold colorado blades. Yup, can't beat that! I like to use 2 blades. Quote
Primus Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I will add big round shallow to mid depth cranks that put a lot of vibration in warmer water and lipless trap type for cooler water. Quote
kikstand454 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 dont forget the black cavitron buzzbait. and if your catchin them on nightcrawlers, try a senko or a big 10 in. worm. ooo ooo and a paddle tail worm will do well too!!!! Quote
