WHAT KIND OF SWIVELS  AND SIZE WOULD  YOU USE TO BASS FISH. 1} PLASTIC CRAWDAD 2} TOPWATER.HOW DO YOU USE A SWIVEL ON A SPINNER BAIT OR DO YOU JUST TIE IT ON. KINDA LOST...

I use Duo-lock snaps for cranks, topwaters, and hard jerkbaits - no swivel.  Just about everything else, I tie direct.  About the only time I use a swivel, is with a spoon, casting or jigging.  The difference is, that I use a split ring to attach the swivel to the spoon, and no snap - tie direct to the swivel itself.  I've had good luck with Eagle Claw Lazer series snaps and Spro swivels.

Plastic Crawfish - None. Use Palamor Knot.

Topwaters - Depends on what you are throwing.  I use snaps on some and tie direct to baits with Palamor Knot for others.

Best Swivel to Use? - Barrel Swivels

Just my two-cents.  :)

I never use snap swivels.  I do use snaps for many hardbaits and barrel swivels for in line spinners (tied a foot or so up from the lure).  Barrel swivels are also used when required for things such as c-rigs, although I want to look into some of the other options for stopping the sinker/bead on c-rigs.

Every knot that I tie (except for tieing two ends of line together) is the palomar.
