BucketmouthAngler13 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Whoo hoo! It's been 6 months since I've felt a bass pick up my lure. 55 degrees, cloudy, with clear water. 6" Powerlizard T-rigged acrossed the bottom, slow as molasses. Got a nice smaller one, first fish of the season. It felt great! There isnt a darn thing I like better than the smell of fish on my hands. About half a hour later I was fishing off a log and got a pick up. At first it felt like a branch, so I didnt set the hook and lost 'em. So I waited a minute, then casted back. I got another pick up, reeled in the slack, set the hook, and FISH ON. It was a quick (but intense) fight. The branches on the log I was on made it tricky to keep the fish controled. She kept on running back and forth and each time I turned her with only a few feet to spare. I was pumped!!! Heres some a picture and a video: Video of first one: Bigger one a little later: On the downside, my baitmonkey is going CRAZZZZY Quote
