Isn't that why there is a "Other Fish Species" section? I mean, not that I don't get all hot over carp fishing . Quote

I've fished with alot of the guys on this site. I've arranged get togethers for the other guys to meet and fish together. I'm not hating on FivePoundBluegill- he's a great guy and has always been friendly to everyone on the site. But you're calling me a jerk because I thought something was posted in the wrong section? Matt Jungblut Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 i dont see anywhere in the rules for my fishing tournament or outing where u can only post pictures of bass id say he was very proud of his catch and he should be able to post and show pics of his catch with out someone bashin him because its not a bass and needs to be shoved somewhere else other then the outing section sorry if i stepped on ur toes westpalmdude but feel u did the same to fivepoundbluegill and ruining this great thread about a very cool fish ps we have 5 great guys that all ready have that job Quote

Fish Chris Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Are you sure this is a Carp ? Used to be, if it had long fins, it was a Goldfish.... But then they went and bred Koi (domesticated Carp) with long fins too, and this makes things even more confusing. I can't tell from the photo, but if it does not have barbels at the corners of its mouth, this would be a fancy (domesticated) Goldfish..... and not a Carp. Cool catch though :-) Peace, Fish Quote
