well i had a half day of work today which was good cuz i had to get some things done.  while doing these things i stopped by academy and baught some new line(PLine Floroclear)  anyway i was lying on the couch watching TV at about 4:30 and decided i should spool up and go test it out.  so i did.  started off with a white 3/8oz booyah spinnerbait and managed one dink.  then i tied on a LC RC 1.5 in purple perch and managed an even dinkier dink.  each of these fish came on the first cast with each bait.  then i moved to the other tank across the way(same tank my PB came from)  right now it is about 3 feet low, and it is a really small tank so there isnt much left of it.  i threw the RC out a few times and then i scored this one

it went 2.5 on my scale and i have to say that thing put up a hack of a fight, and it bit at the extent of my cast so i had a nice little fight.  this is the first fish i have caught over 2lbs in a long time, and these were the first fish i have caught in these two tanks in even longer.  i was only gone for about an hour too!!  i will post my thoughts on the new line in the other thread i have going on that topic

thanks!

nice fish Red.

those lucky craft RC's are great little cranks...I have a 1.5 in bull bream that works really well when the water is heavily stained...I have a 2.5 in that purple color you have....don't recall catching anything on it,,,but then again, I don't recall fishing it much
