bocabasser Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 everytime i hook a fish that is like that and up to 1 pound, i let him swim around for about a minute. i have had some monsters come out of nowhere and try to eat my dink. caught an 8 pounder while reeling in a cichlid. Quote

You can use the bream, cats, etc., but you cannot use young bass to catch bass. Quote
bocabasser Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 even when you are just reeling him in? Quote
Super User Sam Posted February 15, 2008 Super User Posted February 15, 2008 He will be a great fish to catch when he grows up in three years. Those small bass will hit your bait just as hard as they can. But it seems they come out of hiding during tournaments the most! Quote
skillet Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I know small Bass are supposed to be way more aggressive, sometimes you do wonder "what was he thinking". It always reminds me of the old Warner Bro. cartoon of the little chickenhawk and Foghorn Leghorn (always was 2 of my favorite characters ;D)... As Ever, skillet Quote
michbass Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 had that happen quite a few times last summer, mostly on topwaters. Got to give the little guys credit Quote
