everytime i hook a fish that is like that and up to 1 pound, i let him swim around for about a minute. i have had some monsters come out of nowhere and try to eat my dink. caught an 8 pounder while reeling in a cichlid.

You can use the bream, cats, etc., but you cannot use young bass to catch bass.

He will be a great fish to catch when he grows up in three years.

Those small bass will hit your bait just as hard as they can.

But it seems they come out of hiding during tournaments the most! :D

 I know small Bass are supposed to be way more aggressive, sometimes you do wonder "what was he thinking". It always reminds me of the old Warner Bro. cartoon of the little chickenhawk and Foghorn Leghorn (always was 2 of my favorite characters ;D)...
