Avalonjohn44 Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 What is a good brand of gloves to fish with? I tried some neoprene gloves from walmart and cut the finger tips off, but they aren't cutting it. Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I like the Renegade ProSeries Neoprene gloves. The thumb and index finger fold back and hold with velcro for knot tying or whatever. They fold back on to keep your fingers warm. Quote
Shad_Master Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 BPS sells neoprene gloves for about $10 - they are pretty good. Quote
SimonSays Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Seal skinz gloves, totally waterproof but you don't get the skin to reel feel when using baitcasters. Takes a little bit to get used to but worth it when fishing in the cold! Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted October 23, 2008 Super User Posted October 23, 2008 Thanks for asking that question. It reminded me to try and find where I put mine after using this past winter. I use the Seirus Hyperlite waterproof breathable gloves. They are full fingered, black in color and are thin. When moving to other areas to fish, I put on a pair of the same brand over those that are insulated, thicker, and have a pocket on the back for a chemical hand warmer. I've tried the neoprene gloves in full finger, fingerless, and index/forefinger tip exposed styles and all of those make my hands sweat which makes them feel even colder. Quote
mayassa Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I use my motox gloves keeps the wind off my hands Quote
Captain Chaos II Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I like the one handed glove with little mirrors on it so when I catch a fish, i can go......"hee hee".... Followed up with a 360 body twirl and a snap. ;D Sorry.....mind wandering. Quote
