mattm Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Get a boat and start hiding your spots. Very nice fish though. Quote

Super User David P Posted January 27, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 27, 2008 Get a boat and start hiding your spots. Very nice fish though. I was fishing from a boat, but it's tough when I have to boat over to another boat and ask them to take a picture! ;D The trout hit a trickworm. I caught a 4lb trout on a trickworm a couple months back. Quote
Super User David P Posted January 27, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 27, 2008 Not sure if this picture is any better, but here's one more of the 6 14 Quote

Really didn't fish the trick worm too many times. Guess I will have to break out the trick worms and split shot more this year. Great fish! 8-) Quote

I think it was more of a fluke then anything. So don't put too much time into using a trick worm if you're going for trout. Quote
Infidel. Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Looks like I really missed out this weekend It doesn't suprise me that you stuck that fish on a trick worm. Down here in the "put and take" lakes where they stock 10lb+ trout, there are guys who do very well with 7" powerworms. Quote
