mackkie Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Hi Guys, I was looking through some old pics from this summer and stumbled upon this photo. This was the biggest bass I caught over this past summer. This was the first year I have really started fishing and I wasnt able to get out much since I graduated college and started working full time. Since I am getting some cabin fever up here in MA, I thought I would share a pic of a nice bass and some nice scenery behind it. If you have an approximate guess as to how much she weighed, that would be pretty cool to know. I already cant wait for next year! Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 A very respectable 2 to 2 1/2. Nice fish! After feeling like spring here in R.I. I'd take one of those! Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 x2 Nice fish. That looks like some very bassy waters behind you there. Quote
farmpond1 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Nice fish. What did you catch it on and how? As already mentioned, this looks like some nice fishy waters. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 12, 2008 Super User Posted January 12, 2008 that bass looks like its almost at 3lbs. nice fish! i love gettin a nice one in the middle of catching some dinks. those waters look very shallow. nice for spawn fishing. that bass youre holding (if its femal) would be a solid 5lb during the spawn. you should try running a super shallow (wake) crankbait thru there (bandit footloose) in early spring and see whatcha pull up Quote

As for what I caught her on, I believe it was a t-rigged berkley tequila sunrise worm. This is one area that I know for sure holds some good size bass for these areas, so i am def. going to get back there during the spawn this spring. Quote
