Super User Jimzee Posted January 6, 2008 Super User Posted January 6, 2008 Look at it this way Fourbizz, your reputation as well as many other big bass hunters on this board is well established. I think when you big bass gurus get doubted it is always by someone new. I don't think this thread has gotten a bit ugly. I think everyone has been more than civil in their postings. Everyone has just pointed out different things they have noticed on the photos. If HBA posted his catch and said, "Look at these fish I have caught over the past few years.", I don't think anyone would have said a thing. He had me fooled. Heck, I don't know what it's like in many states during the winter. I had no reason to question his post. Now, his integrity is lost. I for one have never had a reason to lie about my ability of catching fish. Some days I get it done, some days I go back to the house scratching my head. HBA, if you are reading this, these guys aren't out to get you. There is no reason to fib about when you caught them. Many guys on here including myself have never caught a DD bass. Be proud that you did! Just don't take us for a ride, that's all. BTW Fourbizz, great point on the splotch. You guys are good. 8-) Quote
Hawg Bass Assassin Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Dang...Never have, I seen so many P.I.'s. Well,The T-Shirt & Blue Jean's, Are my favorite one's to wear fishing... They bring me good luck. As far as the weather... It's been cold & hot as hell over night. Place's around here look like full Spring time then turn around & on otherside of road look like winter dead. The story is the truth Ya'all...Believe it or not...H.B.A. Quote
buzzbaitfool12 Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Hey guys, I have not been posting awhile on this site and have missed out..however after reading this post I am kind of in awe about the balls of some of us on who keeps and doesnt keeps bass..You can ask fluke I am strictly one hundred and 10 percent catch and release..However if this guy decided to keep both of these fish, It completely up to him and not up to us ask to become investigators on whether or not he caught this fish and if he really caught it..If he did not catch the fish when he said he did then he will have to deal with lost integrity and not the bassresource investigators..If I was someone new I would be afraid to post on this site because things would be under questioning if something did not go exactly the way the majority thought it should be..So guys lighten up..Just my two cents.. And guys lets all come clean..Its not like we have never had a little white lie get us in a pickle.. ;D You all have to understand to that people keep fish.. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted January 7, 2008 Super User Posted January 7, 2008 I hear what you are saying buzz, i think most of the s***storm is not that one or more of the fish may be dead. I don't like big dead fish, but that is one thing. Being lied to is quite another. I think that is what everyone is peeved about, not the C&R aspect. I don't really think its a white lie either. I think it is straight up unforgivable DISHONESTY. My first post here was of a 47lb 5 fish sack and everybody was just as cool as they were for the first couple pages of this thread. So i don't think that just showing up and posting big fish will get you flamed. But who knows, we may all be way off base. For that matter, why haven't you been posting? Don't love us anymore? Quote
buzzbaitfool12 Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 fourbizz I have been catching fish man..No time to be on the net..lol Quote

I think this one has run it's course and people have formed their opinions. I'm going to lock it up before it gets worse. Quote
