Guest avid Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Hey y'all. SteveP and Avid had a fun few hours on Ansin Garcia this morning. for those of you not in the know, Ansin Garcia is part of the Blue Cypress water management area and is a close neighbor to the Stick Marsh. Pictured below is one of the two doubles we had. Plastic worms and Super Flukes were the lure de jour. P.S. It was hot - temps over 80 degrees. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 27, 2007 Super User Posted December 27, 2007 Blue skies, 80 degrees and out on the lake catching bass. Man, you got it goin'! Quote

Super User .ghoti. Posted December 27, 2007 Super User Posted December 27, 2007 I'm jealous! But, I'll be there in about a week and a half, so don't get greedy, amigo. Save a few for me. Cheers, GK Quote
Super User Sam Posted December 28, 2007 Super User Posted December 28, 2007 Avid, You have it made. Good looking, health fish, too. And you smiled! Keep those posts coming as they help us make it through the winter. Yesterday in Richmond, VA it is in the high 30's with rain. Talk about cold. Today was a nicer day but we are expecting to get slammed next week. Thanks for sharing. Keep 'em coming! ;D Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted December 28, 2007 Super User Posted December 28, 2007 Nice fish Av. I'll be hittin the Marsh when the weather cools. I hate fishing the heat all day.. Quote
Guest avid Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 It's so great to be able to fish again on a regular basis. The past year of shoulder surgeries (2) and elbow surgery (1) made fishing very painful or just plain impossible. I know you won't believe me, but it is possible the lack of fishing time this year made me a tad grouchy. : Anyway, it is so great to be back. SteveP is a great fishing buddy and man.....he do know these central Florida lakes. Kudo's to him. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 28, 2007 Super User Posted December 28, 2007 It looks like after you have tutored him with some professional training, his photographic skills have improved, too! I am glad you are back. I am looking forward to a 10 lb post! 8-) Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted December 29, 2007 Super User Posted December 29, 2007 Steve P, did you lose some sort of contest to get paired with Avid? Did he or someone else bribe you? How much did Avid pay you to doctor a photo and place his mug into a photo of someone who actually caught fish? Quote
Guest Steve_P. Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Actually Mike, Avid asked if I could help him get a better Avatar pic than that 3 pound Crappie you have in YOUR Avatar. : I told him we could top that from the friggen bank!! Hell, we could top that at the petstore in the little fishy section. Don't worry Avid, I've got your back!! Quote
