Me and couple friends went to lake to do some fishing even though it was pretty cold and windy at times.

The water was gin clear and we saw quite a few bass. The fishing was very difficult but we managed to catch 4 bass and

a big perch. A guy that we met was fishing with live bait and caught this strange fish. I assume it was a burbot (see pic below).

I love cold weather bassin! 8-)

That burbot thing looks just like an eel.

The latin name is Lota lota and it's supposed to be a great eating fish. It's like a freshwater cod. I'm not sure if I would eat that thing. ;D

Man some rough water behind you.

Fishing from shore with water like that always knocks me off my game.

Confidence thing.

It seems like I only catch fish when the water is that rough for some reason.

man, if anybody woulda told me there were bass in switzerland before i got to this site, i'da laughed at 'em and said they were crazy.  just goes to show ya how much i know.  not only are there bass there apparently, but some good 'uns too!!! :o  and you guys obviously know how to stick 'em - even in tough conditions.  that's awesome man! :)
