I wish it was a 10#. The scale said 7Lb.s even.

I caught it in the middle of october last year in about 8 foot of water on a main lake point.  I was using a Black&Blue Strike King Bitsy Bug 1/8th ounces. I also used a paca craw(black&blue) as the trailer. It was just after a cold front and me and my dad were about to call it a day when i made the last couple of casts.  I felt like i lost feeling with the bottom so i just slammed it.  It was the only fish I caught that day.

When i look at the pictures of that fish, i see that it does have really cool looking markings. its tail is almost all black. You said it was healhty, it was but i whish it was fatter.  it was more on the skinny side :-/. this fish is my pb. i cant wiat till i get a better one. Thanks for asking

heck that thing lookes way bigger than a 7.on the pond we fish we have caught fish that were 5-6 pounds a couples years back and seen others catch 7's but they were alot smaller than that.not to mention that in maryland or the whole mid atlantic region anything that hits 5 is huge

Yeah as i said it was a skinny fish.  It was probably just about to start to feed for the winter.

I wish i caught her during spring though, she would be even bigger.

Anything over 5 is a very nice fish for maryland.

yea im in delaware and if we can catch somthing that 2.5-3 pounds its a good day  ;D but i sure do hate when i get on here th night and hear all the storys from the guys like Chris above who catch one fish that weighs more than all the fish i caught over the course of a week combined

ha we all share the same feelings. i catch a 3lber and i think its hot stuff and then other ppl catch 3lbers and call em dinks and wish it was a 10. my pb is a 7 also, i used to have it in my avatar. dont think it was quite as long as will's but mine was definitley fatter. i caught her during the spawn...thats why.

but yeah your fish is really pretty will. we need to get together and fish st. marys lake when it warms up
