BossierBassHunter Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 i only have one lure in my tacklebox. i have a very small tacklebox.the walking worm http://www.ngcsports.com/walking_worm.cfm?ccode=WWchnaWLL Do they work, lol? But anyways, I'll limit it to what I acutally use most...In no particular order. 1.Cavitron/Buzzbait 2.Senkos...swim and regular 3.Big Worms (10"+) 4.Crankbait that dives to about 6 ft. 5.Colorado Blade Spinner 6.Spro Frog 7.Crawfish Imitator...either Jig and craw, or Yum crawbug type lure 8.Stanley Ribbits I could easily get by with about 5 "lures" and about 4 packs of plastics...yet I have a whole lot more than that for some reason, lol. Super User Raul Posted October 18, 2008 Super User Posted October 18, 2008 Sam pretty much summed it up, lures you should have in your T-box: all of them cuz all of them catch fish one time or the other, which types, all you can get your hands on, how many and which ones, it 's personal preference, so let 's say that we are talking Topwaters, there are several types of topwaters: Walk the dog type Wobblers Chuggers & popers Prop baits You want to have at least one of each type, which ones, well I would say that for walk the dog type the Sammy is hard to beat, for wobblers the good ole Jitterbug, for chuggers you can get a Chug Bug and for poppers the ole Hula Popper, for prop baits the Heddon Torpedo is a classic. Of course there are lots of brands from where to choose, lots of names there but how many of each and which ones you choose. The same applies to cranks, they are divided in lipless lipped: flat.- super shallow, shallow, mid depth, deep depth, extra deep fat:- super shallow, shallow, mid depth, deep depth, extra deep And you can divide some more Floating Sinking Suspending With rattles Silent Worms, oh boy !, we 've got straight tail, ribbon tail, C tail, G tail, U tail, paddle tail, stickbaits, lengths from 3 to 10-12", colors ? gee wee, lots from where to choose. Spinnerbaits: by blade types.- colorado, indiana, tennessee, willow, by number of blades.- single, double, tandem, multi. And so on, all of them work, so, which ones ? all of them Quote
