I got out on Mauch Chunk for 4 hours today They were hitting *** Trick Stiks hard today. Jigs and plugs never even got wet! Nothing very big and nothing very small.Just a lot of nice bass . all on rock piles ! The were hittin em t rigged and weightless and wacky rigged in 8 to 12 feet oif water.

Tommorw this heat wave supposed to break, the temps have been in the mid to upper 80's , broke records 3 out of last 4 days. Cold front approaching, temps will drop 25 to 30 degrees on the other side of a line of t storms. I inend to be on the lake right before those storms hit. Similar situation 3 years ago, not so hot but a line of storms kinda of brought in the fall, and right before that line of storms hit the fishing was insane! 8-)

I'll be out there on Wednesday too just before the storms hit. I can feel a vacation/sick day coming on now. The temps here have been crazy hot for this time of year. We had 95 on Friday and 91 today. That cold front is going to sting a little considering the high for Friday is going to be 56. Ouch, that will take some getting used to. :o

I'm in IL and the front just passed us.  I made it out for an hour tonight and caught 5 fish, 2 of which were just over 2 pounds.  Too bad I didn't call in sick  >:(
