Not bad Mr. Burley.

A little more shadow perhaps.

For those of you not in on the joke, allow me to explain.

I have a bit of rep on the boards for posing very proudly while taking ridiculous pix  (see below)

Burley really captured my style, but without a low pixel camera phone with the lens coated with bass slime, you just can't duplicate the originals

the reason why you havn't seen any of "Avids famous bass pix" is becaouse I have been grounded by surgery.  I'll be out of commission for another month or so, but then you too can enjoy the majesty of SE Florida bassin through the eyes of the photographically challenged.

thanks Burley for the tribute.

It brought a   to these tired ole' eyes

Of course the nice thing is, on a fishing forum, you can get by with quite a bit when it comes to photos :-)

It's funny.... I sometimes post photos of smaller fish, but in which the photo comes out spot on, on the photography forums I visit....

But then I have posted shots of trophy catches, in which the photo was not great, on fishing forums, but would not even think about posting those on the photograhy forums :-)

Keep em' coming Avid :-)

Peace,

Fish

Wow Burley, I've never seen those pics of Avid until now... I have to say that you matched that to perfection.  Don't worry Avid, you'll be back for some of the best fishing of the year... then again do you guys even have seasons in Florida? Haha.  Hope you heal up soon bud so we can some more of those humble pics!

I guess this is the best I can do for an Avid Tribute pic.  I got some work to do:

A noble effort sir Matt5.0

Now, get rid of the expensive  .  Get yourself a 1.5 megapixel "throwaway"   carry it in the pocket of your fishing pants.  Fall in the water a few times.  Make sure the lint from your pocket is covering the lens.  Wipe the lens off with a combination bug spray, spf 40, smelly jelly, and bass slime covered thumb, wait for the sky to turn overcast, face away from what remains of the sun, hold the bass in one hand and stretch you other arm out with the camera in it, now make a face like your constipated (you already mastered that) and do not forget the Ray Charles   and......................................................................................................................................

Snap - you now have a perfect rendition of avids famous photo technique for capturing the black bass and things that go bump in the night.

P.S. Good luck and have fun.
