SneakySnook Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Got out for about 10 mintues before the lightning chased me off. I went out with a Rapala DT6 and caught one fat fish. It was very windy today so I decided to use the wind like current. I cast into the wind and started to reel slowly and bam. Here is the pic of the bass I caught. Quote
armesjr Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I never thought about taking a picture like that. is your camera resting on the ground or on a tackle box. Quote

Infidel. Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Nice fish! God how I miss Florida!!! I can remember runing back and forth from the water to the car as the isolated T-stroms would come through. I have goose bumps just thinking about it. Quote
SneakySnook Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 Nice fish! God how I miss Florida!!! I can remember runing back and forth from the water to the car as the isolated T-stroms would come through. I have goose bumps just thinking about it. The good thing for me is that these lakes are right in my neighborhood so I don't have to go very far. All the lakes are in walking distance. I'll be in Florida forever. Quote
Cigarlover 1 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Isolated T-storms have been my worst enemy this summer. They don't pass through quite as quickly up here as they do in FL. : One trip out I didn't even make a cast after I got the boat in the water before I saw dark clouds and lightning. It went from beautiful to nasty in about 5 minutes literally. Great fish! Quote
