Super User roadwarrior Posted September 13, 2007 Super User Posted September 13, 2007 I'm pretty excited about throwing that bait this fall up river a piece. It just looks like something those brown fish would like. And congrats on your 5.1, even if was a green trout! Thanks for the report. 8-) Quote
Olebiker Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 You're killing me, Bud. :'( It will be at least a week before I get to go fishing again. By the way, isn't Benton, KY the only town where Joe Creason was born? Quote
Bud Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 RW I caught one of your brown fish this morning it put up a good fight. They will bite a senko or a kreature bait. Olebiker how do you know about Joe Creason ????? That is a long standing joke in Benton. Quote

Bud Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 CJ Joe Creason was a journalist who was born in Benton. He used the tag line the ""only town in Kentucky were I was born". A lot of the old timers that knew him joke about it. Quote
Olebiker Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Olebiker how do you know about Joe Creason ????? That is a long standing joke in Benton. I grew up in Louisville reading Joe's columns in the Courier Journal. I have a copy of his book, Joe Creason's Kentucky that he gave me for Christmas in 1972. Quote
