dinks are fun to catch.

I have an ultra light spinning rod, and tackle box filled with nothing with tiny crankbaits, spinners, etc.

I'll take that one out just for the fun of it.

enjoy.

ya know, i have an ultra light rod, and i just got my cardinal back from the reel guy, my luck tho, i would use that and catch a 10lber and it would snap my rod  ;D

Nope, with a properly set drag you should be able to play and land that hawg.

We must be fishing the same water. I've caught two nice ones this year and the rest won't even make the scale move.

That's what I am saying!  Only time that I get upset about catching dinks is when I'm in a tournament.

BTY, Beast, I am just going to assume that you are 30ft tall and that is a 5lber you are holding there  :)

Then what does that make the one in my avatar. :)

The last time I went fishing I caught 5 bass. The time before that I caught 7. Thing is im haveing the exact same problem that you are haveing of only catching small fish. My biggest bass from both these trips was a little over 12 inch. Anyway id rather catch a bunch of dinks then no bass at all.
