My parter Chris and I took second place in the Angler's Choice club tournament in Aquia Creek on Saturday.  Our five fish weighed 9lbs 6oz.  We lost a 4lber that would have put us in first place.  We had our bag by 7AM.  The rest of the day was really slow.  We spent most of it tracking the livewell water temperature and adding frozen ice packs to keep the fish alive.  The 1st place weight was just over 10lbs.  One team had 12lbs but two fish died on them.  It was nice to pocket cash for the first time!

Nice job on the 2nd place finish. Was this a trolling motor only tournament? I know you said it was Angler's choice but I didn't think there was an AC tournament in last weekend.

I know you threw in the grass and around the boat docks but what did you use?

Texas rigged plastics? Senkos? Spinnerbaits? Buzzbaits and other topwaters in the AM?

Placing 2nd is super.  And a 4 pounder in Aquia Creek is fantastic.  Sorry you missed her.

Thanks.
