fishingfrenzy Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 This year has been one of the slowest, least productive years for myself when it comes to bass fishing. I've been in a slump for the last several months and hopefully now it's over. I went out fishing with my dad for a couple hours today and caught this one. It weighed in at 4.8 pounds. Btw.. it was caught on a 7" senko, color #297 Quote
Syfer420 Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 heree piggy piggy piggy!!! lol nice fish. Nothings better than breaking a slump except maybe breaking it with a nice sized hog Quote
FivePoundBluegill Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Nice healthy looking bass you got here. He is very unusually dark colored. I dont know if I have seen a largemouth that dark. Quote

mattm Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Were you thinking it might be larger when it hit that 7" senko? Quote
fishingfrenzy Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 Posted by: mattm Posted on: Today at 10:30am Were you thinking it might be larger when it hit that 7" senko? I at first thought it was a small bass (2 pounds), cause it wasnt really fighting all that hard. I hooked her probably 50 yards out, so she was out quite a ways. Then she just launched herself way out of the water and I started thinking atleast 5, maybe 6 pounds cause she was really fat. But she really didnt have the length, maybe 19 inches or so. I got another pic that shows the girth... I'll try and upload that pic as well. Quote
Nj jedd_ bassboi56 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 that is a healthy and pretty looking fish Quote
