I took my wif fishing Sunday evening after she got off work. I always buy her some nightcrawlers because she loves to catch bream. She tends to get bored if she is not catching fish. On this trip I bought some live Shiners to use for Bass fishing. I only caught one fish which spit the hook about 10-15 feet from the boat. I had tightened the drag during the fight which allowed him to do a tail walk a spit the hook. I did learn some on this trip though: 1. Leave the drag alone and 2. I need thinner live bait hooks and really do not need the split shot below the bobber. I am hooked on this style of fishing and am going back Wednesday.

By the way the Bass was probably around a 4-5 pounder and my wife caught aroun 20 panfish.
