bassbob08 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 We started out at 3am ,got on the water at 430 am,we cought some dinks and were talking about the thread on bluegill lures and how the bass this time of year are sitting in grass beds looking for bluegill,my son is going blind so I tied on a storm bluegill for him and 10 min. latter he cought a large snapping turtle,at about 9am we got to a rather large grass bed and wouldnt you know it 8.825lbs latter,He hooked his minnow, we finally landed it after a bit of coaching ,then the high fives and hugging started, dont tell him but I think I felt a tear or two coming down.I cant tell you how this makes me feel after all he has been through what this means to me,just to see him have so much joy.We prayed before we left for a big Bass and our prayer was answerd.Bob Quote
