Guest avid Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 You da man Biz. when 65 lb braid meets an 11 lber with hookset leverage of 6'7" = broken stick. but who cares - what a great story. I would contact Lamiglass and tell them the story and showthem the pics, but I would want to mount the rod, next to replica of the bass. Now THAT would be a conversation piece. !!! Outstanding. One of the best "my fishing trip" posts I have read in a long time. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted June 11, 2007 Author Super User Posted June 11, 2007 Yeah, I couldn't care less about the broken rod. It was just a utility stick anyway. It was the rod I landed my 13 on as well, so I felt like I got my $100 out of it Thats exactly what I said, though, it'll be my trophy for that fish! Quote
