IdreamOFlunkers Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I've been doing good so far this year but in the past week i decided to try a new place. It's a small res outside of Ebensburg, PA. There were some nice bass around. I saw a bunch of nice ones around 3lbs. I even saw 3 that were all 5+. I was set on catchin some big bass and tried everything. I used everything I could from diff worms, tubes, lizards, swim baits, jigs w/ craw trailers, flukes, bass assasin, crank baits, lipless crank baits, buzz baits and spinners. I also tried diff presentations for everything i used. I plan on going back and pulling some nice bass out of there. Any suggestions for me? Quote
basspro48 Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 hmm...you could try a jerkbait. I have had several experiences on lakes with extremely clear water where I can see the bass but they won't hit anything, when this happens I rig up 2 baits, a suspending jerkbait like an LC flashminnow, and a ZOOM superfluke rigged weightless worked extremely fast and erratically right in front of the fish. OBX-BASS Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 i have had the exact same thing happen to me before...i had no clue what to do....the next day i went back and nailed him with a lure with the exact presentation that he had no interest in the day before....so i guess its just depends on how they feel or how much they have allready feeded that particular day....hope this helps!
