well its good to know they stand behind their lures :D

Bah!  Those instructions sounded like their way to get you to just suck it up.  Are you going to go to all that trouble to get a lure replaced?

I like Rapala, but if I break one it goes in the trash.

maybe i havent had this problem because i mainly fish with the DT03, which has a very stout bill. the deepest one i have ever used was a DT10, but i mainly use the DT03, and DT06. neither of these have very large bills, and that may be why i havent had one break.

You aren't beating it up enough, you want to bounce that off every rock and log in the place. Being the 03 and 06, I'm assuming you might not be getting to the bottom?

i only fish in shallow water, so those are the perfect depths. and no i dont hit the bottom much.

Hi Guys if anybody is interested in selling their broken Rapalas i will gladly buy them They are expensive here in africa and i have learnt to repair mine well i will also donate some of the one i repair to some of the kids i know i can pay via paypal drop me a private message and i will get back to you cheers.Ps my brother caught a ten pound bass on the smallest jointed shadrap and when it jumped he didnt think the hooks would hold but they did although they were plenty bent.
