linesider7 Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 I've got to get out at night, I've got black horny toads that I've been saving for just the occasion. Looks like a great time was had! Quote
Craw Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Good job fellas. Those are some great photos. I love to fish at night also, but I don't always get such good photos. In fact, some of the better fish I've caught don't get posted because I screwed up the shot. What make/model of camera did you take those shots with? Any advice on shooting after dark? Quote
SneakySnook Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 WTG Guys! I need to start doing some night bass fishing. Quote
Dan Pitre Posted May 19, 2007 Author Posted May 19, 2007 Hey just wanted to tank everyone for there comments we had a great time. I've got to get out at night, I've got black horny toads that I've been saving for just the occasion. Looks like a great time was had! I read what you wrote and I start kicking myself 'cause I had some and totally forgot to use them. What sucks even more was a couple of days before I was doing awesome on Green Horny Toads during the day on this same lake and have a feeling the dark ones have would've worked great that night. > Good job fellas. Those are some great photos. I love to fish at night also, but I don't always get such good photos. In fact, some of the better fish I've caught don't get posted because I screwed up the shot. What make/model of camera did you take those shots with? Any advice on shooting after dark? Hey Craw the Camera I use for when I go fishing is a Nikon Coolpix P1 its small, easy to put in ur pocket and it's 8 megapixels and the way I take night pix is by NOT putting it on the "Night Time Flash" function but switching it the "Red Eye Flash" function 'cause this will make your flash 'flash' like 2-3 times and provide enough light for the picture to come out clearly. Trying to keep the camera as still as possible helps to lol Hope this helps. Quote
jomatty Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 ive had decent luck with soft frogs at night but dont hear of many folks fishing with them at night. i usually prefer a buzzbait but the frogs work well too. ed, dont listen to them that headlamp makes you look official and serious. i wear one at all times even when its not dark for these reasons and my mom says i look great Quote
