My mattlures blue gill swims on a slant when i retrive it...how can i fix this? and also, i know that this is a big bass lure, but where/how can i use this to increase my chances of gettin a nice fish. so far i been using it off of points, throwin into the deep water and bringing it back slowly, prbably at a 2-4feet off the surface level.

That happens with all my Mattlures. The cases they come in disform the bait over time, becuase one side is  molded to the lures shape and one side is flat.

To fix it, hold the bait by the hook and submurge it up its gills and the bottom of the hook in slightly boiling water intill its soft. Then take it out and hang it from the hook's eye on somthing so that it will cool in the right position. (the tail and lower body going out perfectly streight)

I left mine hanging over night and it ran perfect the next day.

bucketmouth is right. that will fix 95% . also the faster you reel them thmore they will "try" to lean. The bait is designed to be fished slow. reel them just slow enough to get the tail to kick and maintain that speeed. The biggest mystake I see new swimbaiters making wath any swimbait is retreiving them too fast.
