Troutfisher Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Hey everyone, I went to do some fishing with my friend at my usual fishing spot, a large creek that flows into a large shallow pond area. I went armed with some live minnows I caught with a net from a much smaller creek. After we caught about 16-18 minnows, we headed out. After we reached our destination, I started off throwing my go-to lure for the area, a white 3 inch senko. On my first cast while waiting for my friend, I caught a little bass. After my friend reached my area, we started throwing the minnows. On my first cast with a medium sized minnow, I hooked into this guy. It wasn't huge, but it gave up a decent fight. After we fished for a while longer and caught some smaller fish, I hooked into this lunker. Overall, it was a good trip, and I plan on going back pretty soon. So far, my personal best for the area is this nice fish I caught on a soft plastic worm. Thanks for looking! TF Quote
Guest avid Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 fishing with live bait is the most boring thing when the bite is down. but when the bite is on it can be the most fun ever. good for you young feller. Quote
