Today was a great morning! I have arrived at the lake at about 4:45am and after the advise of Vyron(thanks buddy) i decided to fish the east side of the dam. Due to the limited access you will have to walk for about half an hour on an old gravel road in order to find access to water. The spot i was fishing was an edge of a small cove.

Water Temp 16Celcius

Clear to stained water

light wind

... and just to cut the long story short here are the results

Second cast 4.1lb on a terminator spinnerbait

after moving to the other side of the cove i switch to jerkbaits and 2.6lb came out:

then after two hours of no bites i decided to move back to the spot i cought the first bass. I was fishing a 6" senko and boom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a 4.85lb hit the bait really hard. I still not feeling very well :( for not releasing it but i wanted to show the fish to the family

P.S. Don't feel too bad for not releasing your fish - it's ok to keep one every now and then... ::)

No need to apologize, my friend.  As long as you don't overharvest fish, keeping a few every now and then is good.  ;)

Nice fish!
