Well, took the wife out today for the first time since she had our daughter almost 4 weeks ago.  She was dieing to get out on the water.  Launched the boat on the farm pond about 11:30.  Caught this decent bass about 12:00 on a 1/2oz Chartreuse Spinnerbait.

2lbs - 14oz

We went to shore about 12:30 because the wind was blowing us around like crazy and was a little unsafe in the little jon boat, so we had some sandwiches and fished from shore for a while.  Wife caught her first fish of the year on a 3/16 Chartreuse Spinnerbait.  The biggest Crappie i've ever seen come out of this pond.

She also caught 2 small bass, about 8".  No pics of those.  The wind was getting out of control so we packed it up.  Not bad for just a couple hours at the farm pond, and sooooo glad to get my wife out of the house to go fishing.  She had a blast!
